Do I need to share my seed phrase or private key?

Never in the initial form or first contact. After assessment, verification and formalization, we request only the minimum required. Not every case requires a seed or private key.

Will Vault Recovery have access to my funds?

The process varies by case. After access is recovered, assets are moved to a new wallet during an assisted session with you. Vault does not retain custody of the funds after completion.

Attempts are performed offline on equipment controlled by Vault, with access restricted to responsible specialists. Sensitive files and data used for recovery are permanently deleted after the case is concluded.

You complete a form without sensitive information and request a conversation. During the free assessment, which lasts 30 minutes, a specialist reviews the case, discusses initial viability and explains next steps.

What information do I need?

Any related material may help: the original device, a wallet file or backup, part of a seed, a known public address, transaction history or memories of the password or passphrase. Do not submit these through the initial form.

Can you recover a wallet with only a public address?

Accepted Answer

No. A public address may help verify whether an attempt found the correct wallet, but it cannot reconstruct a private key, seed, password or passphrase by itself.

Can an old or discontinued wallet still be recovered?

Age alone does not make a wallet impossible to recover. Old files, discontinued software and legacy backups may still be useful. Viability depends on the material available.

Can you recover stolen or scammed cryptocurrency?

No. Confirmed blockchain transactions cannot be reversed, and Vault Recovery does not promise to take assets from another wallet. Blockchain tracing is a separate service and tracing does not mean funds can be recovered.

Before technical work begins, we verify the requester's identity, ownership or legal authority. Requests without sufficient evidence are declined.

Remote service is standard for clients in Brazil and abroad. Selected cases, particularly those involving physical devices, may be handled in person in São Paulo by appointment.

You take part in an assisted session to move the assets into a new wallet under your control. The success fee is paid according to the recovered value, and sensitive case data is deleted after completion.

What is the difference between a password, seed phrase and passphrase?

A password usually unlocks the wallet app or file. A seed phrase, also called a recovery phrase or mnemonic phrase, generates the wallet keys. A passphrase is additional information that can create a different wallet from the same seed. Identifying which one was lost changes the recovery method.

Can a wallet be recovered without the seed phrase?

In some cases, yes. An encrypted wallet file, a backup, the original device or partial credentials may provide another path. If only a public address remains, it is not enough to reconstruct access.

Can a completely lost seed phrase be recovered?

Accepted Answer

Not when no information capable of recreating it remains. Self custody cryptography does not allow a seed to be derived from a public address. Cases with missing words, uncertain order, transcription errors, backups or an available device can be assessed.
